Most memorable experiences were playing on Lake Bemidji with the band RIZE during their annual pond hockey tournaments. "Learning the music of David Bowie has been a welcome challenge. Ben calls Minneapolis his home. Originally from Fargo, ND, he and Pete (the drummer) became acquainted in Jr high school while both were serving after-school detention for a spirited game of catch with a footlong hotdog across the lunchroom!
After graduation, Ben packed his gear and proceeded to hitchhike to Nashville. At a stop in De Soto, Missouri, he met country music legend The Duke of Paducah, who offered him a gig playing mandolin with his act touring the South with “Minnie Pearl’s Country Caravan of Stars.” The tour ended and Ben relocated to Minneapolis where he became a first-call guitarist playing the local clubs. His talent and openness on social media for his love of all things Bowie, landed him the gig with The Band That Fell To Earth!
Currently from Minneapolis, Pete grew up in Fargo ND, and began traveling the Midwest with The Street Band as a teen.
